Innocuous Bride

You never laid your hands on a brush
Nor your hands ever touched a pen
I know I am asking for too much
But how could one be not interested in a poem
I wondered, excuse me
I couldn't stop thinking loud
Can I ask mountains to draw a sketch
Nor can I ask moon to write a poem
Neither could I
But they have a purpose
A great source of inspiration
In that way you are better than a poem
Better than a picture that was ever painted
Now smile please.. cheese
You are a picture that is worth
- a million unspoken words
He came, he saw, he conquered

He came, he saw, he conquered
Wonder is it a conquest with a contest?
Not sure, but I know
A battle where men get defeated
Without putting their defense

There stood at the corner of my house
A rose plant which my mom watered everyday
The roses everyday they smiled
- when I left home for work
Pity me, I noticed it not
Before someone said it is beautiful

A girl's smile is missed more
Not before when someone mentions it
Her frozen eyes can melt any hard rock
They say diamond cut diamonds
A slight movement of her lips
Can make any valiant man a beggar

And God made them man and woman
It's Eve who conquered Adam
If not he would not have eaten
- the forbidden fruit
And no man would ever be longing
For the fruit of woman
Love lost and found

I did bid bye to it a few seasons ago
Not realizing the fact
It's just a migratory bird I bid bye to
I thought it was a closed chapter
But I was wrong
As the days grew colder
My heart wanted to get warmer
Who else can provide me the warmth than you?
I hope soon you would return
At least in the next season
After all you just migrated
With dreams I will be waiting
- for your leisurely return
