It's New Year

It might just be another day
When the earth rotates as how it always did
The waves of sea roar no different
Not much news of any abnormal volcanic activity
The minute as usual has not more than 60 seconds
There does not seem to be any special news from nature

Yet we all hope
When this day come the past pains will long be forgotten
The unhealed wounds will be healed
The luck that played hide and seek
Will show itself
And we will prosper in whatever we start
A day that brings hope
And for this hope I admire it
Happy New Year

I envy Hitler

He killed millions
Made children fatherless
Treated every non-Aryan with disdain
The air of supremacy
Reigned his mind
And it flew high in air
He never let it down
His every attempts
Made nations motionless

A simple man
Taken to greater heights
Is really commendable in any standards
But before pride took him over
And turned him brutal
He vowed uprooting a race from the face of earth
He did it almost
Before he died
But death did him a favor
He deserved not that death
It would have been better if he had been hanged
Like Mussolini by his own people
Or if he had been caught like Saddam
And been hanged by his foes
Though he had a self-inflicted death
It is like death did him a favor
The way he died was to him a honor - an irony
It would stand for a million years
If history is to be maintained
- to the last day of the world

I remember the good old days

I remember the good old days,
then when I had my own ways
When I think of what I did
In the good old days
It just brings on my face a little smile
Time has changed and I too have
I am no more the person what I used to be
But when I think of the good old days
It brings on my face a wonderful smile

I remember the good old days,
then when I had my own ways
I remember those days
When I played with stuff
That I can even hardly imagine now
The trees weren't trees
And stones and shades were people to me then
It just might look silly now
But the memory that lingers
Brings on my face a big wide smile

Moist eyes

no sullen eyes nor sunken voice
no fast heart beat yet she meant it

no words spoken nor any high drama
no hugs but he understood

no spirits high nor big emotions
no kisses but she said it

no great expressions nor any nodding
no hand shakes but he accepted

Wot is sexy?

the lush green tree
blue mountain
blue-green river
rocks on shore
white pebbles
yellow-brown sand
silver fish
circles in water
life itself...

Follow me

Follow me
I travel the road less traveled
There will be thorns and gravel
Not to mention the paths so crooked

Fear not
the animals that come on the way
Let them roar if they want to
The days might even be dark

Hear not
The rumors that you hear
And all those you were made to believe
They might even be true

Know well
You might die of thirst
And hunger might well be your friend all your way
Even the sight of sun will make you faint

Follow me
Not for reasons stated above
But for I put my foot first and you on my trail
And above all for I know how to feed your
- adventurous spirit

Love is on the air

It's a lovely day
I found my love today
It feels like love is on the air
I can breathe it, can you?
All these days where was it?
I don't know
But what I know is
It just, just feels wonderful
It's a lovely day
I found my love today

It feels like the sky finding it's missing star
Like the garden finding it's missing flower
Like a depleted man finding his hope
It's so fresh a feeling
With all my sense I could feel the effervescence
Within, within the depth of my heart
Comes out the clamor
Love is on the air
I can feel it, can you?

There is joy in waiting

What joy is to a mother
If she conceives today and gives birth tomorrow
What joy is to a farmer
If he sows in the morning and reaps in the evening
What joy is in freedom
If there had been no struggle and suffering
What joy is in getting to the top
If there has been no falls or stumbling blocks
What joy is in love
If there has been no pangs and pain

Before every cyclone there's a depression
Before every eruption there's a suppression
And before every beautiful butterfly there is a caged pupa
The bottom line - there is joy in waiting
Kitchen Love

Honey, tell me one spot of adventure
where you think we both will have fun and great time
And keep in mind days are tough
It should be inexpensive too
The wife thinks for a moment
And says, sweetheart why not we visit our kitchen

Somewhere, some time I read it
And was fallen into deep thoughts as to if this was true
Speaking as a matter-of-factly it's true indeed
There's this popular adage
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach
Love starts in kitchen

Now let's explore this less-accessed territory
Maybe some will call kitchen the dark room
Even to geeks there is one seed that's latin and greek
And that's fenugreek
A simple golden seed that's good for diabetes
And for loss of appetite too
Soak it overnight in water and drink it
I bet you will see difference in insulin levels, try it

I stumbled next into something
hey, this looks like some powder gold
Eureka, I found it, it's turmeric
It's known for its anti-inflammatory properties
A hot cup of milk with turmeric powder
hey, I know that's my grandma's recipe
Yeah right, it's good for cold

Enough for the day
No more the kitchen would be a darkroom
It's the life-giving room
