Thoughts

Like it I feel, man is knit together by thoughts
By thoughts of those around him
By thoughts, well, left behind by people of old
By thoughts of those near and dear
By thoughts of those far and unknown
By thoughts of frantic gurus
By thoughts of good raisers
By thoughts of …
It goes on, as in the words of Wordsworth
In a never ending line

The most importance in the whole world
Is given to “I”
I am well known by my thoughts
Good or evil
Manifested and backed well by actions
But am I endorsing my own thoughts
To be true, I don’t
All in the world in my days of vanity
I am made to accept those I don’t want to
And to give up those I like to preserve
One might ask
Is it befitting for one to live
who has no control over his own thoughts?
Something to ponder!
One thing I would like to ask
Is it all my own thoughts that I conceive?
Only evolution can answer

Learning comes from hearing
I hear what others speak
As large as an ocean
I hear the unwanted
As small as the pond
I hear the wanted
Let me hear nature speak
Though if people call me deaf
I shall compromise
Bad for good
To have control over words bleak
Not a word will I speak
Glad even if they call me dumb
Let me draw a new course
At least for me to travel
To cross borders beyond knowledge can reach
For this I shall make no compromise
