Christmas

Jingle bells, jingle bells...
The season has started
Shopkeepers merry
There is a good reason to shop
It's Christmas and the spending has to be special
Yes we do want to spend more than our normal shopping
Hmm... good for the economic recession
Someone has to start it
What's better than the Christmas season
To resuscitate the dying economy- a good reason
And the carols.. oh good they are
The stars, the serial sets, and the cribs
They distinguish our houses from others
When others pass by- it's a moment to be proud of
It is all about Christmas - good

Wait a minute... what about the holy communion
A mere ritual - God forbid
The breaking of the bread
Well that reminds of the birth, death, and the resurrection of Christ
Good, you know it
Is Christmas special than the communion with God?
I am afraid 'not'

Okay, lets not go that far
What if we make it a charity festival
Hmm.. sounds good
But why not we do charity all through the year
Cool...

The Jews celebrate the passover once in a year
But our Good Lord does not want us do just like that
If we sin not, then fine
But we do fall
We shall come to Him with all repentance and break the bread
Break the bread and what?
And remember Christ's birth...
What did I say? Christ's birth!
Oh that's what we call Christmas
Well that's good but now we will celebrate
With the real meaning remembering the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ
And our joy shall not be just the joy of another festival
But be of the joy that we will be partakers of His Kingdom
Happy Christmas
