Lost in you...

I still remember the day
When I am bowled down by your sweetness
Your own sweetness...
It's the very day when your hands touched me
I still feel the tenderness,
feel your warmth and the silky smooth touch
I am sunken down in it
Wake me not
I am not asleep, just intoxicated

Your sweet voice
It still rings in my ears
What's in it?
Is it wine or honey?
Whatever be it
It is so sweet
I want to..
Want to hear you more
But
don't speak, I will sleep
You make me forget
I am old enough
Not to sleep to a lullaby

I am no child
But before you
I do break
What's in you?
Are your fingers a magic wand, I wonder
Wherefrom you got the charm?
I simply lose myself
When you are near me
Search me, you will find
More of you than me in me

The Cross that crossed my mind

Who in the world has to carry a cross?
Everyone has to is the bitter truth
God's promise is not to take us out of our troubles
But to be with us when we go through them
Caring for our fellow human beings is the cross
That God bestowed upon us
Let us carry it with joy

A plank of wood is what
That would come to our mind
When we think of a cross
Now the call is to rethink what we thought
That was not right
To re-learn what we learned wrong
A simple attempt to break free the callous mind

There is a wonderful reason
why I am not an atheist
In my trouble, like a child, I can call upon the Lord
And the peace that swarms me around
Has nothing to compare
And it is what I would call
The joy of the Lord

There is none in the world
who never had blue days
Be it men or women
And these days ask a child he will tell
Depression is a cross
So is the burden to write
- a cross that every writer would love to carry
